Sue has been in the counselling profession for 30+ years, and over this time has gained experience in a variety of issues including trauma, stress, anxiety, life transitions, couples and family counselling, reproductive mental health, career, chronic conditions, and addictions. She is also committed to ongoing professional development, having completed numerous workshops and courses to ensure her knowledge and skills remain fresh and progressive.

Sue is certified in Real Life Therapy (RLT), Terry Real's appraoch to couples counselling and also now works for Terry Real's Relational Life Institute as a trainer/mentor of other therapists and coaches learning RLT.   RLT equips people with the powerful relational skills they need to make love work and cultivate authentic connections—to themselves, each other, and the planet as a whole. Sue also has advanced training in Self-Regulation Therapy (SRT), a particularly gentle and successful somatic approach in working with trauma that has it's roots in Somatic Experiencing.  Sue has found that somatic and relational work are a powerful combination to assist with both individual and relational awareness and growth.
